Easy Pie Crust!

I've always been interested in baking ever since I was little girl, I still remember standing on a kitchen chair because my tiny legs were much to small to reach the counter to help my grandma roll out cookie dough. Baking is my getaway it's relaxing and I enjoy it. I always thought pie crust was hard to make for some reason, therefore I never was interested into making my own and always bought pre-made pie crust. Boy oh boy was I surprised to learn it really is easy to make, cost effective and you probably have all the ingredients in your cabinets right now! The other day  I was in a rush and had no time to run to store to purchase premade pie dough. I quickly looked online and used the first pie crust recipe I ran across. This pie crust is incredibly easy and being a busy mom it was a recipe that was right up my alley! In less than 20 minutes I had my pie crust ready to use. I opted to make a pumpkin pie which is 1 of my fall favorites with this pie crust.  I prefer this pie crust over the premade kind. This pie crust turned out excellent. Flaky and delicious! Everyone enjoyed it and wanted the recipe!

Learn how to make this incredibly easy pie crust below!

This is such an easier recipe than using butter. The oil mixes well with the flour and I need to try this pie crust recipe next time I make pies. Thanks for sharing.

Funnel Cake Bites Recipe

U The original recipe I had the mixture was way to funny and messy too fry with, So I spent some time tweaking the recipe. I must say these Funnel Cake Bites were a HUGE hit in my house! As you see above I'm cooking 5 Funnel cakes at once. The ones in the photo aren't quite done, but very close. The funnel cakes should be golden like the photos of the cooked funnel cakes above. That's how you'll know they are done. This is a table spoon I found it much easier to pour in 1 tablespoon each into the hot oil, I was easily able to cook 4-5 mini funnel cakes at once using this method. I tried using a zip lock baggies with the mixture but it wasn't coming out corrrectly into the hot oil. This recipe makes about 15-20 Funnel Cake Bites. Perfect for parties, BBQ or a yummy snack!  What's your favorite Carnival/Fair Food??
